Talk about drunk on fashion. This aptly-named “Beer Dress” is made from little more than lager, and its fibers are remarkably similar to cotton. Unlike its wine-borne predecessors, this beer frock doesn’t have any distinctive odors that would tip off an unsuspecting admirer of its origins. Although the dress was created as an art piece for the 2015 World Expo in Milan next month, the technology used to turn beer into fabric could have other industrial applications.
