You’ve seen smart phones, smart glasses and even smart watches, but how about smart fingernails? Wearable technology is poised to become huge, so two students at the Art Center College of Design in California got to thinking about options for adding technology to everyday items. What they came up with could change the way nail salons do business. Instead of giving you a few coats of paint, salons could outfit you with the equipment to track your health or help you change your habits right at your fingertips. Even though the concept is in its early stages, it opens up a whole new world of smart technology.
